Film South, Inc. was formed on April 1, 1998 as the merger of two well established companies. David Goodfellow of MTA Tinting and John Rodie of Solar Tech\Glass Knights conceived the basic fundamental ideas and have over 40 years of combined experience in the window film industry. Ron Goodfellow came on board with years of experience in management, sales, and accounting. This combination has allowed the team to bring the installation of quality films to consumers and institutions throughout the Southeast. Both of the original two companies are charter members of the International Window Film Association and are accredited in upholding industry standards. Our consultants are Solutia certified dealers and we have passed the first IWFA testing to be pronounced Solar Control Specialist. We have also passed the Safety and Security Film Accreditation Testing by the IWFA. All three are members of the IWFA Hall of Fame. In the past ten years we have performed our professional installations through such companies as Blockbuster Video, Cory Everson's Fitness for Women, Pier 1 Imports, Auburn Univ., Univ. of Florida., Emory Univ., Baskin Robbins, Hardees, Wendy's, Hewlett Packard, Army-Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES), Bellsouth, AFLAC... We believe in using the finest quality films without having to compromise for price.
